In this ongoing, newly created series of “nature scapes”, I embrace the landscape featuring mostly mountains that are serene, majestic and grounding, and have inspired me. As I stand on the ground either in tall grass or flowers, or at the side of the road,  I am very near and when I raise my eyes, I see what is further. Hence the title “Near and Far”.

This series of paintings that encompasses realism, semi abstract and impressionism, is presented either on wood panels or canvas board using thick quality acrylics and palette knives.
